Reverend Ian William Mackie

Ian Mackie was the much loved father of three: Erica, Adrian and Fiona. He retired to Chapeltown in October 1996 after nine years as the vicar of St John's Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln. He bad previously been curate at St Thomas Market Rasen and before 2 years at Lincoln Theological.College where he trained to be a vicar. He was Deputy Head of Wiĺliam Farr Comprehensive School in welton, Lincolnshire.  Ian who haviing started his life in a dairy farm.in surrey before teainig  to be a geography teacher enjoyed a long and happy retirement here In.Sheffield. he was a member of St Johns Chapeltown, a governor at Pound Junior and Infant school, a member of the local.conservation group and a good friend to many. He will be much missed
