Valerie Skinner

Valerie was born and lived in Sheffield all her life. She was married to the late John Skinner and everyone who knew her will know she was living proof of what happens when you are told you can't have a dog as a child! She certainly made up for it and her life was devoted to breeding, showing and rescuing Dachshunds. She enjoyed travelling to numerous world wide destinations and loved opera and classical music. Valerie did not have children herself but was much loved by her neices and nephews and enjoyed our visits and overnight stays and teaching us  to groom and show dogs.
