Jack was born in Harley and lived there all his life, he married his late wife Edna in 1949, and they had one daughter Lynn.
Jack was one of five siblings, George, Bessie, Robert & Mary.
Jack attended Wentworth school, and worked at Newton Chambers until he semi retired in 1979.
Jack had several passions in life family, cricket, horse racing, supporting Barnsley FC, and not forgetting his tipple of Brandy.......
Jack leaves a Daughter Lynn, Son-in-law David, two Grandsons Thom & Jack and thier respective partners Victoria & Lindsey, his precious Great Grandaughter Scarlett and his sister Mary.

I hold wonderful memories of Uncle Jack from when he married my Auntie Edna, the strong family link has remained unbroken throughout the years.
He welcomed me with opens arms and love throughout my childhood and then as an adult living in Australia.
It was wonderful that he could meet my husband, children and grandchildren.
Uncle Jack will be lovingly remembered as a kind and caring uncle and brother-in law. always a gentleman.
Forever in our hearts.

Uncle Jack you were a great guy so good natured and always a smile. We have great memories of you even though we are thousands of miles away. When you join our Mum and Grandma Bessie in heaven may you rest in peace.
