Elizabeth Margaret Harrison (Betty)

  Betty was brought up in Crane Moor and moved to High Green when she married a local lad, Roy Harrison and they had two daughters, Kathryn and Elaine.&nbsp; &nbsp;The family moved into The Market Inn pub in 1966 and ran a successful business for the next 17 years.&nbsp; These were very happy times and lovely memories were made.&nbsp; From there they moved to Thurgoland where Betty was an active member of the community and, until recently, a member of the Bowling Club in High Green.&nbsp;

I lived across the road from Betty and Roy for many years before I moved to Finland. Betty was such a kind and warm Lady and always looked her best. She was friends with my Nannan, Renee Goodliffe, and I'm sure they're both having a bit of a natter right now. Sending love to all of Betty's Friends and Family X
